New! SHAPE Physician/Provider Certification Program
After numerous requests from physicians, nurse practitioners, physicians assistants, and nurses worldwide SHAPE has developed web based CAD detection/heart attack prevention educational modules to be followed by a web based certification exam. This very inexpensive certification program brings national and local recognition and is AMA Category I CME approved.
Certification is appropriate/available to all practicing physicians, non physician providers, and nurses seeking to reduce cardiac events among their patients (primary care, internal medicine, cardiology, radiology, OB-GYN, family practice, preventive medicine, etc.).

SHAPE Physician/Provider Certification
The Society for Heart Attack Prevention and Eradication (SHAPE), a national organization based in Houston, Texas, has executed a multi-year exclusive collaboration with J & J Medical based in Columbia, South Carolina. Both organizations share extensive clinical experience and a common mission to bring about superior cardiovascular patient outcomes through comprehensive prevention and early detection strategies.
The initial focus of the collaboration will be the introduction of the new SHAPE/Heart Health Heart Attack Eradication Campaign. Initial efforts will focus on the identification and selection of sites looking to establish superior early CAD detection and CAD prevention programs and become SHAPE/Heart Health Certified "Centers of Excellence".
A national series of coronary calcium scoring and early CAD detection educational workshops are being developed to raise awareness among primary care, cardiology, and CT service providers and invite participation in the "Centers of Excellence Program".
